Its' that time of year again! December 10th is International Human Rights day and I'll be spending it at the local library participating in Amnesty's Write for Rights campaign. I've done this the last two or three years and I urge my readers (I know you're out there!) to sit down for an hour today and pen some letters. These letters really do make a difference in the lives of people who've been imprisoned for simply excersizing their basic human rights like freedom of speech or assembly, and to the families of people who've had loved ones killed or simply vanished, reminding them that their person is not forgotten, and neither was what they were fighting for. We're all in this together, so please write today!
